As we all know, popular imagination attributes the ability to fly on brooms to witches. Aside from this gift, which is more related to fantasy, from a spiritual perspective, witches and sorceresses also used this magical instrument to “sweep” the ritual area. According to tradition, sorceress apprentices would also receive magical broomsticks from their teachers at initiation ceremonies as a show of their progress in the study of witchcraft.
In short, the broomstick used for magic is a purifying and protecting instrument associated with the Element of Water. It protects your home when placed across the doorstep, above doors or near a window.
Regarding the symbolism of the black raven, it could be said that has always been an animal popularly regarded a symbol of ill omen, a portent of doom and nightmare...
But this so beautiful and elegant bird, has another symbolism as the intelligence, the knowledge and wisdom. It has been considered the holder of ancestral memories and harbinger of powerful secrets for its association with the ancient Welsh hero Bran; Also represents the wisdom of the oracle for its direct link with the Celtic Goddess of War: the great prophetess Morrigan, an arcane entity that turned her spirit into a raven to fly over the battles and inspire fear or courage into the hearts of the warriors.

This broom was the first one I made, (just as the great Eglantine Price would say : "My first broom!") for that reason, I feel a tremendous affection for this broomstick in particular ^^
It was handcrafted and personalized by myself with a realistic-looking replica of a raven skull on the top, and is decorated with feathers of falcon, pheasant and crow, as well as some oak leaves and dried thistles. The broomstick is a natural branch and has been decorated by me using a pokerwork technique, and discretely signed on the right side, close to where the bristles are attached.

Como todos sabemos, el imaginario popular atribuye a las brujas el poder de volar sobre sus escobas. A parte de este don más ligado a la fantasía, las brujas y hechiceras utilizan también este instrumento mágico para “barrer” el área ritual desde un punto de vista espiritual. La tradición cuenta además que las aprendices de bruja recibían de sus maestras la escoba mágica mediante una ceremonia iniciática como muestra de sus progresos en el estudio de la brujería.
En definitiva, la escoba utilizada en magia es un instrumento purificador y protector asociado al elemento Agua. Protege tu hogar al ser colocada a través del umbral, sobre puertas o cerca de una ventana.
En cuanto al simbolismo del cuervo negro, podría decirse que ha sido siempre un animal popularmente considerado como un símbolo de mal agüero, un presagio de fatalidad y pesadilla...
Pero este pájaro tan hermoso y elegante, posee otro simbolismo como la inteligencia, el conocimiento y la sabiduría. Se ha considerado como el guardián de memorias ancestrales y revelador de poderosos secretos por su asociación con el antiguo héroe galés Bran; También representa la sabiduría del oráculo por su directa vinculación con la Diosa celta de la guerra: la gran profetisa Morrigan, una entidad arcana que transformaba su espíritu en cuervo para volar sobre las batallas e inspirar miedo o coraje en los corazones de los guerreros.

Esta escoba fue la primera que hice, (justo como la gran Eglantine Price diría: "¡Mi primera escoba!") es por ello por lo que siento un enorme cariño hacia esta escoba en particular ^^
Está fabricada artesanalmente y personalizada por mí misma con una réplica muy realista de un cráneo de cuervo en la parte superior, y decorada con plumas de halcón, faisán y cuervo, así como algunas hojas de roble y cardos secos. El palo de la escoba es una rama natural y está pirograbado por mí y firmado discretamente en el lado derecho más cercano al comienzo de las cerdas.
