Do you believe in fairies?
I've had a chance encounter with this beautiful female Saturnia Pyri moth during a walk... and before sunset, which is uncommon enough!
What a beauty! That little things in life that fill you with gratitude and happiness. ✨
This Emperor Moth definitely wanted to come with me! I was delighted with my new and majestic friend, of course! To be honest, I admit that at first she frightened me a little because I felt something strange that landed on my head as I was walking... so she was lucky she didn't end slapped by an instinctive reaction! That would've been a real tragedy!
Fortunately, my husband told me not to worry because it was just a moth, but a really big moth! The smile on my face says it all, I'm a mixture of curiosity and happiness! And I also confess that she got tangled up in my hair for quite some time before I try to free her little and delicate legs with the utmost care! Then, when I saw that great moth in my hands, I recognize that it was one of the most wonderful moments of my life... something really magical that I'll never forget.
Finally, I said goodbye to this lovely lady leaving her back among the tall grass of the path...

He tenido un encuentro casual con esta preciosa polilla hembra Saturnia Pyri durante un paseo... y antes del atardecer, ¡lo cual es bastante poco común!
¡Qué belleza! Esas pequeñas cosas en la vida que te llenan de gratitud y felicidad. ✨
¡Esta preciosa Saturnia Pyri definitivamente quería venirse conmigo! ¡Y yo encantada con mi nueva y majestuosa amiga, por supuesto! Para ser honesta, admito que al principio me asustó un poco porque sentí que algo extraño se había posado en mi cabeza mientras estaba caminando... ¡así que tuvo suerte de no haber recibido un manotazo como reacción instintiva! ¡Eso habría sido una verdadera tragedia!
Afortunadamente, mi novio me dijo que no me preocupara porque solo era una polilla, ¡pero una polilla muy grande! La sonrisa en mi cara lo dice todo pues, ¡soy una mezcla entre curiosidad y felicidad! ¡Y también confieso que se enredó en mi pelo durante bastante tiempo antes de yo intentar liberar sus pequeñas y delicadas patitas con todo el cuidado del mundo! Luego, al ver esa gran polilla entre mis manos, reconozco que fue uno de los momentos más maravillosos de mi vida... algo realmente mágico que nunca olvidaré.
Finalmente, me despedí de esta hermosa dama dejándola atrás entre la hierba alta del camino...
