Hyoscyamus Niger 🌱💀🌱
I took advantage of the last Dark Moon and New Moon phases to go in search of some interesting wild plants! And what I found between the walls of an old graveyard? The infamous and beautiful Hyoscyamus Niger! My favourite plant from the nightshade family by far, I love her distinctive evil-looking flowers!
I've been keeping an eye on the development of the young buds for some months now (because I wasn't entirely sure that it was Black Henbane) but I finally was right! And there she was, looking truly majestic with the springtime... So renewed and blooming!
As you already know, this highly poisonous plant is directly related to witchcraft since ancient times, being also one of the ingredients of the legendary flying ointment, known for inducing altered states of consciousness... As if the soul lift out of the mortal body to fly away through a higher plane, as if you could reach the Divine.
And what more can I say?... Just that I feel particularly blessed that I found you, my dear stinking nightshade💚

He aprovechado las últimas fases de Luna Oscura y Luna Nueva para ir en busca de algunas plantas silvestres de mi interés ¿Y qué encontré entre los muros de un antiguo cementerio? ¡El infame y hermoso Hyoscyamus Niger! ¡Mi planta favorita de la familia de las solanaceas con diferencia, me encantan sus características flores de aspecto siniestro!
Estuve controlando el desarrollo de los primeros brotes durante algunos meses (porque no estaba completamente segura de que fuera Beleño Negro), ¡pero finalmente estaba en lo cierto! Y allí estaba ella, luciendo realmente majestuosa con la primavera... ¡Tan renovada y floreciente!
Como ya sabéis, esta planta es extremadamente tóxica y está directamente relacionada con la brujería desde la antigüedad, siendo también uno de los ingredientes del legendario ungüento volador, conocido por inducir a estados alterados de conciencia... Como si el alma abandonara el cuerpo mortal para volar a través de un plano superior que roza lo divino.
¿Y qué más puedo decir?... Solo que me siento especialmente afortunada de haberte encontrado, mi querida hierba hedionda💚
