May I introduce you my dear Mandrake! She's still very young, but every day grows more strong and beautiful... Of course, my love and dedication is not lacking!
The truth is that it's been a long process of almost 8 months since I started the cold stratification of the seeds hoping that at least one will germinate adequately. In the end, two of them responded well to this process: One did not fully develop but, fortunately, the other one did it without problem. In early september I transferred carefully the seedling in a bigger pot, and here is the result after two more months! 😊
It is often said that the seed of the mandrake only germinates outside its natural environment when the elemental spirit that protects this powerful plant determines the right moment in which its future owner is really ready to receive its unique gifts and benefits... So, if finally he chose me as a life companion for this beauty, I only hope that my baby mandrake still wants to stay with me for many years and grows up healthy and happy by my side 💚

¡Os presento a mi querida Mandragora! Todavía es muy joven, pero cada día está más fuerte y hermosa... ¡Amor y dedicación por mi parte no le falta!
La verdad es que ha sido un largo proceso de casi 8 meses desde que comencé con la estratificación en frío de las semillas para conseguir que al menos una germinara. Al final, dos de ellas respondieron bien a este proceso: una no terminó de desarrollarse por completo pero, afortunadamente, la otra lo hizo sin problemas. A principios de septiembre trasplanté con cuidado la plántula ya crecida en una maceta más grande, ¡y aquí está el resultado después de dos meses más! 😊
Se suele decir que la semilla de mandrágora solo germina fuera de su entorno natural cuando el espíritu elemental que protege a esta poderosa planta determina el momento adecuado en el cual su futuro propietario esté realmente preparado para recibir sus dones y beneficios... Así pues, si finalmente me eligió a mí como compañera de vida para esta belleza, solo espero que mi pequeña siga queriendo estar conmigo durante muchos años y que crezca sana y feliz a mi lado 💚
