I think that the most recurring motifs throughout my artistic career have mainly been dead leaves, butterflies and nocturnal moths...
We are unconsciously drawn to certain elements whose symbologies make us feel identified... In my case, the metaphor of the chrysalis and the transformation has been a constant in my life; it is not by chance that I represent these life cycles by moths or butterflies. On the other hand, I relate the autumn leaves to the skin layers that fall off our bodies and souls along our spiritual path. In essence, all this symbolism so closely associated with death, transmutation and rebirth, is precisely the main characteristic of those born under the sign of Scorpio. I'm intense and profound... I can't help it! 😬
This drawing, although very simple, defines a whole life... My soulmate.
It is also the last drawing I did to end my new book. And, of course, October will be its date! 🍂

A día de hoy, creo que los motivos más recurrentes a lo largo de toda mi trayectoria artística han sido principalmente las hojas muertas, las mariposas o las polillas nocturnas...
Todos nos vemos atraídos de manera inconsciente hacia ciertos elementos cuya simbología nos hace sentir identificados... En mi caso, la metáfora de la crisálida y la transformación ha sido una constante en mi vida; no es casual, entonces, que represente estos ciclos vitales mediante polillas o mariposas. Por otra parte, asocio el otoño y sus hojas muertas con las capas de piel que se desprenden de nuestros cuerpos y almas a lo largo de nuestro camino. En esencia, toda esta simbología, tan estrechamente asociada con la muerte espiritual, la transmutación y el renacimiento, es precisamente la característica principal de los nacidos bajo el signo de Escorpio. Soy intensa y profunda... ¡No lo puedo evitar! 😬
Este dibujo, aunque muy sencillo, define toda una vida... Sería un poco como mi alma gemela.
Es también el último dibujo que hice para cerrar definitivamente el que será mi próximo libro. Y, como no, ¡Octubre será su fecha! 🍂
